Give Wildlife in Greece a chance

A campaign to protect Brown Bears, Wolves, Monk Seals and Greece's Natural Heritage ARCTUROS, a greek environmental NGO for the protection and management of wildlife and natural environment and Mom, a greek environmental NGO for research and protection of the Mediterranean Monk Seal, travelled to the US to transmit the message of protection of wildlife and natural environment in Greece, to the other side of the Atlantic. Delegates of the two important NGOs travelled to Boston, New York and Washington, invited by Green Hellenes, to give speeches and meet Greeks residing in the US, citizens that care for the environment and journalists to raise awareness for the threats natural environment in Greece is facing and the work they do to protect it. Dr. Alexandros Karamanlidis, field biologist, specialist and researcher for ARCTUROS and Mom, delivered speeches for the research work and the actions the two NGOs are currently doing for brown bears, monk seals, wolved and other endangered wildlife species as well as the dire need to protect them and Greece's natural environment in general.
