Presenting Pelagia Dashboard

Presentation in Greek of the Pelagia Dashboard platform: https://pelagia.mermanconservation.co.uk The Pelagia Dashboard helps citizens, visitors, and the media stay informed about Pelagia jellyfish sightings in Greece through the Pelagia Logbook and near-real-time bloom monitoring. Through this platform, the records submitted by the public, including observations uploaded to iNaturalist, which we recommend, and to the Facebook group “Jellyfish in Greece,” are transformed into open, useful information. Instead of remaining in a closed database, these records become public tables, maps, and tools that help people understand jellyfish activity and make more informed choices about where to swim. By contributing sightings, citizens actively support marine monitoring, public awareness, and safer beach visits across Greece.
